Burning River Adventures offers kayak trips on the Hertiageportion of the Cuyahoga River (Kent to Cuyahoga Falls). we provide shuttle up river in the start of your trip to designated launch locations then you paddle down river ending your trip back at your car at Water Works Park (by the boat launch) in Cuyahoag falls.

Weekends do fill up fast! So, be sure to make you reservations as soon as possible.

Short Trip
2 miles, ~1 hour
A 2 mile trip that takes approximately 1 hour (depending on water level)! Great for 1st timers & little adventurers.
Middle Trip
4.5 miles, ~2 hours
This trip takes approximately 2 hours (depending on water level) and has 2 swift moving water areas (easy to navigate) along the route.
Long Trip
6.5 miles, ~3 hours
This trip is approx. 3 hours (depending on water level) with 2 swift water areas (easy to navigate). Enjoyable for all!

Location Information
Meeting Location: Water Works Park by the boat launch located at 2025 Munroe Falls Ave., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221
Directions once you pull into the park:
Once you turn into the park entrance go past the aquatic center until you come to the STOP sign. Turn LEFT to go towards the boat launch and park in one of the parking areas you see on the map below.
Please check in at our mobile office building with BRA Staff!
**Note: Please arrive 30 minutes prior to trip start time to check in as we depart as close to trip time as possible. Shuttles can not wait on late arrivals and we can not always accommodate moving reservations to the next time slot.
All rentals are expected to be returned within average paddling times for each trip.
During busy times of the season trips may leave a little late, but we do our best to leave at our set departure times!
What to Bring: Be prepared to potentially get wet! This includes your cell phones and belongings! Water shoes/old tennis shoes are HIGHLY recommended, flip-flops are NOT!
Ensure you and your group have signed our electronic waiver (linked in your confirmation email) prior to arriving! Youth under 18 MUST have a parent or guardian signature. Please fill out the electronic waiver below instead of printing out a waiver.
Anything you take with you on the water is subject to get wet! Be prepared and rent or buy a cell phone dry bag!
